I'm new in Gnutella.In the Gnutella Protocol 0.6, it is said that a Gnutella servent connects itself to the network by establishing a connection with another servent currently on the network. I wonder how does the servent get other servent's IP adress?Using broadcast?How does it pass through gateway?

It is said that techniques for finding the first host are described in Appendix 3.But i don't see the Appendix 3 in this page....
