quote: ----------------------- So, in answer to your question: "I wonder what percentage of people never download a 'commonly downloaded' file?" The answer is that everyone who ever wanted a 'hot' release of some new large file, like a movie or game, were in fact asking for a 'commonly downloaded' file. That's most people, I bet. ------------------------ Not me. Couldn't care less about them. I think those hot new releases propagate plenty fast, from what I hear from my broadband-enabled friends. Sorry to do this: What's the most commonly searched for files? I bet those are also the most commonly downloaded. You really want a hard drive full of that shite? I think you need to encrypt it for a start, then all you've done is duplicate freenet, which already exists, so why start again? |
