looking for a simple java servent

hi there
i am a java developer and i am looking for a simple, basic java servent.
my aim is to learn the existing code and extend it in order to enable more scalability and connectivity.

any ideas on where i can find a reliable code?

yes i have read this mail, but i am not interested in a complicated servent like limewire, i am only looking for the basic infrastrucuture, and if the name jtella already came up , does anyone know how robust is it? easy to learn?
