I doubt it's a problem with Gnotella. I'm not sure what the problem might be. |
File corruption? I'm not sure if this is a problemw/ gnotella or if it is just my machine, but anytime I download an .asf file(let's say... 80MB), the program will download the file. Then I open it with Windows Media Player and the video will start to play. And it might be a 30 minute video but after 1-3 minutes(or less if it is a smaller file) it will stop playing and go to the end. What is going on? The data must be there in such a huge file, but I can't see how every file is corrupted. Thanks for any help! |
Well, thatz really funny - I have the same problem! Just downloaded a file with 34 mb of size and it happens just as Brian Racer discribes it.... cya |
That generally happens when the file has been truncated during download, it appears as 50Mb but the download failed at 2Mb, so it plays the first 2MB, then skips to the end. Alternetively, it could be that the file corrupted during download and only 2MB is valid data. |
