Morgwen asked me to post a hostlist.txt for Xolox, here:

All you have to do is replace your current hostlist.txt with fresh IPs. Open the hostlist.txt file in your Xolox folder with an editor (simple double click) and replace the content with the following encoded host caches. If it's not working I post my own hostlist.

Isn't that the same as changing the host cache servers like connect1.gnutellanet.com or is it more complicated with that client? Thanks for the info!!!!

Where did you get this info? Once you start using it will it automatically keep itself up to date or do you have to keep doing this?

I did link to the refering post. The host caches will get fresh IPs for you, once you can't connect (never ever happened for me) replace the hostlist.txt again as described above.

check it out yourself.

Rumours say Xolox will come back, like a Phoenix rising from the ashes.

The new XoloX better have ultrapeers, chat, user files browsing, GGEP, Download Mesh, Full meta-data support, file hashing as well as all of the other proposals at the GDF. It also better be less of a resource and CPU hog than it was before... otherwise it's nothing special.
