![]() Just wondering if there are any goods or bads about letting people connect and disconnecting them. Im on a dial-up and dont iintend to stay on long so should I make as few connects as possible, and not allow incoming connects (Im not talking about download requests), so other users can find a better connected node. Or should I try to have at least two connections to avoid being a dead end. On a similar note, if Im getting rid of a lot (but not all) connections should I get rid of old ones or new ones first. I know that what I do alone makes no real difference, but if a good ettiquete could be decided it might improve the network significantly. Also I havent used gnutella much, or seen that many sites, so if there is already such a guide, or a more appropriate board or list, feel free to redirect me. |
