host catcher

Hi,
does anyone know if the host catcher loggs unique users? and also which host does the client connect to at first?

The hostlist is just a plain list of hosts. The first one in the list is connected to first. I think there is a checking for duplicate ip addresses, but maybe there is not, because the hostlist can become quite large and it would be very time consuming to search the whole list every time we detect a new host.
