Help! I just downloaded LimeWire and was just learning how to use it. Then it stopped working. My daughter had same problem. She deleted the program and re-downloaded it. I did the same thing only to find when I re-downloaded it....I get this error message for needing Javavw I believe. I went to delete it from my system and it wont even let me put in trash saying it is too LARGE.
So it is STUCK on my computer.This is PC/Windows 98......Help me please. I loved the program. The error message gave me link to get the Java download but I cant find it and was afraid to add anything else to my computer. Since then....it is VERY SLOW on running internet. We have AOL and just got ROAD RUNNER........using ROAD RUNNER for faster downloads...is this LimeWire hung up in my computer FOREVER? IS it causing slowness. She did not close program properly, so who knows what I have in here.
