Suggestion to all developers I'm not a client developer, but i'm interested in the gnutella basics. We all have read threads like , Gnutella has a problem, OpenSource P2P Debate, it's about choice (flooded by trolls) etc etc. My question is now, why do you like it that our "sponsored client developers" (attention: irony) are destroying one of the most filesharing important communities? (Btw. Please don't anti-post in this thread, there are already much other threads where you can do that) I think, nearly every word has to be spoken out clearly- this was a place where i had a smile on my face when i was here, but every week that was gone, it became worse, thanks to all whiners,trolls,bs-propaganda makers, etc. I hope that i'm not the only one thinking like that. If so, there are other communities i found where people are more together and using their time doing something with sense.... my suggestion to all developers.. come together, leave GDF, define Gnutella as a protocol that has nothing to do with the BearWire protocol, think of which improvement it would be if the clients would be 99,9% compatible to each other. this can easily be reached. The future is in your hands! encourage each other to improve the network together! the gdf is commercially ruled. the gdc is dead. gnutella will be dead. turn on your brains or we all have to start at point ZERO. |

You don't understand what i meant.. OK i'll keep my statement short, you don't have understood what i meant. i'm not 100% against other opinions but i'm against anti posting. Other opinions: are great. can give us maybe some ideas how to do something better. are just acceptable. anti-posting: destructive form of being-against-all-that-isn't-my-opinion. Taliban and unregistered, you demonstrated what i meant. I said he should create his own forum because he said developers should create own networks. Own forums don't work because noone posts there (or only a few.) same with own networks: you don't have the mass of users. that's what i meant. anti posting is what trolls and whiners do, and i hope you aren't one of them!! |

[EDIT .. and again] You still need your own forum so you can control all the posting, including anti-posting, that way everything will be happy like disneyland. I don't agree with your opinion. I like mine. I am the king of anti-posting in your eyes because I like my own opinion? I think you are anti-posting because you only like your own opinion, I hate it when that happens. Who likes their own opinion? I sure don't. I like the opinion of George Bush. he's my king and leader, I worship him and if he says pay up I do. Do you want me to pay up? I could worship you if I had a nuron or two that was stable. Vinnie has a few loose too. Last edited by KathW; May 1st, 2002 at 01:09 PM. |

Off Topic I have nothing against your opinion. end of story. this discussion is off topic and should be stopped or continued in another thread. My opinion is only against this "if-a-developer-doesn't-like-the-network-he-can-leave" thing. That was a whiner post and forum flooding because it exists in nearly 3985629356 threads. please, someone, how would it be to reply my initial post? thanx |
