P2P devs needed for new network

I'm seeking a couple of Gnutella/P2P programmers who would be interested in working on an experimental new project. I've invented a new non-commercial application of P2P, and need some help bringing it to life. It's not about file-sharing in the popular sense, and will have enormous benefits if proven to work.

If you enjoy problem-solving and have spare time on your hands, drop me a line on ICQ #1052602.

I think you should tell us some more details.
In which language do you want to have it written?
And why do you want to create a new one since Gnutella
is already a reliable one?

You could try to improve Gnutella instead of bringing out
a new one.

Hiya Paradog,

I'm still working on my public documentation, but the idea of the project is not to provide Gnutella-like file sharing. It's got a few of the same attributes, P2P networking and shared storage, but that's about it. Trying to piggyback it on Gnutella would hurt Gnutella (I presume), since the nodes would only really be interested in each other and not the general file sharers.

I can post the address of my docs when they're done, otherwise just ICQ me.

Cool I will.
Could you send me the project documentation once
you've worked things out?

please post more details, but you don't have to go overboard, if you can keep greedy people like Vinnie from trying to make a living off the network, then I am in.

by the way,
you still didnt mention which language to use.
if you're using asp or vb i'm in too.

what name do you wanna give it anyway?

Hi guys,

I've posted some initial notes at http://www.emberton.com/kyru for you to check out. Soon I'll be putting some documents up at the proper kyru.com website. In the meantime all volunteers and suggestions welcome :-)
