To the main point -- I have had no recent problems with limewire, what are you talking about? If you bought limewire pro you might as well stick with it. Of course I haven't been trolling the boards here so I don't know the latest information on what works best/most easily. Also, you really should post this on the limewire forum, if you want to get help from limewire developers/other users.

By the way, I also think that the shorthand makes the writer look REALLY ignorant for some reason. It grates on me. One reason is that my brain doesn't read it easily yet. Another reason is that it's not just shorthand, but a shorthand version of "cool, white, 15 year old, ghetto slang." Knamean? Another reason may be that for some reason I have yet to see complex/in depth content communicated in this language as it has a limited vocabulary. On the other hand I like the concept of a completely different language spawned by the internet.

Hi, Melissa......
Listen, unregistered people do NOT get the same 'use'.
Believe me........ Many of the people who could help you with any problems you may have will, in fact, mostly ignore posts from unregistered users. Being unregistered and remaining unregistered suggests that you are not serious, so why should real people help you ?
That is the way it really works, Melissa.

Hope you register.
And remember, Melissa...... If you are registered you can edit your posts, just in case you make a mistake and type something in clear English

Hmm...

I never made a difference, I think we shouldnīt make it... the good things of being registered is you can send PMs and ask some mebers directly!

Its good that this forum is free and donīt force anybody to register, which use do you have from a member who ask one or two questions and never come back (the most people do this way)?

I have no problems with unregistered users, I read them all but not trolls. It doesnt matter if you register to get an answer. A troll can be a registered or an unregistered user or a registerd hotmail user...

Saying unregisterd users are not serious in general, makes me wonder, you as a mod shouldn't say that.

Are you telling me whoever owns this forum allows 15 year olds to moderate?
Doesn't wisdom have anything to do with censoring the forum?
I think someone with more life experience and more tolerance & patience should be allowed to mod.

Hmm...

you think you are more patient and tolerant than paradog? I remember some of your posts, without any tolerance or patient, including this one here!

Give him a chance.

And yes age is not the only indicator for a mod...

What do you think how old the mods on bearshare.net are? I know Becker is 17 and the other are not much older... we have two young mods here, Paradog and Trustar (17), Trustar is one of the most patient and experinced persons I know, he is responsible for the clean Limewire project etc. yes and we have some mid ages mods here and some "oldies" - I think this is a good mix because the visitors are mixed too...

Really,
I think age is not an indicator for everything.
Would you all knew I was 15 if I wouldnt have told you?

I dont think so.

I never overreacted as a moderator and misused any of
the moderation functions ok?

Also you cant say that I have no experience in the
Gnutella Technology and General IT Technology.
I have already coded many stuffs that equal or even
top codes from *matures*.

So please dont judge me after my age.

Cool 16 here

...and I'm 16. Will be 17 on July. So what??? Ask anybody who was in the old Gnotella forums if I wasn't helpful!!! I was the 3rd in posts, and during the last months I was the only one who gave some advise there. I was probably the person who knew the most about Gnotella, as the developers after December never showed up again.

Default Melissa here

Look yeah I only came on here to get some help not some beef about how I write. Its not like In knew to write in full for some people, how was I supposed to know , get OFF my case and errr LET GO of the past, stop carrying on this L-O-N-G conversation (pointless) about it! You only wanted me to register so that you could trace me and see who I was!
Unregistered user is not a big thing for someone who wants to come on here for 2 mins for some help, geez! Why would I take the process of registering when I can do the same thing quicker with the same help? Think about it, it makes sense.
Ursula, what I meant was that I get the same use in sending and receiving messages. I'm a first time user on here ~ so how would I know I had to register otherwise people wouldn't take me serious. I mean , have you people developed some kidna code the DO's and DON'T's! And why wouldn't you take an unregistered user seriously? Its just not on. Its like your excluding people from the discussions! I mean ~ COME ON! It ain't a big deal, is it? Y'all are reading WAYYYYY TOOOOOOOO much in to this. I would never, EVER get hassle about this type of thing on any other website, apart from The Government for petes sake.

Iight, not hard feelings o.k
Juzz let go!

From
Melissa
