Default Time shift your shared files, the new standard

Monday - Share 2000 MP3s from folder "shared1"
Tuesday - Share a different set of 2300 MP3s from folder "shared2"
Wednesday - Share different 1900 MP3s from folder "shared3"
and so on...

Time shifting of files prevents ISPs and "others" from doing anything about the files you share because files are not there for more than 24 hrs, and they are gone for over one week.

Others that are online fill in the "gaps" because they share those same files, but on different days.

Your favorite Gnutella client developer can easily add this feature, turn this option on and it adds a number to the name of your shared folder, defaulting to the original folder name if not found. It's very easy to add because the day number comes from a call to the standard time routine.

Everyone should be running their gnutella client 24/7 in protest to any moves against gnutella by ISPs or "others". Better clients limit bandwidth, so you can still use your connection while supporting file sharing - just leave it on!

Demand that time shifting be added to your favorite client! Some developers may not want to add this feature, so please e-mail them today!

Doesn't have to be added to Gnutella- you could use a job scheduler to rename your folders on a daily basis.

every AOL user I know knows how to set up a job scheduler to do that sort of thing, and screw in a light bulb or two while swimming in the bath tub.

gnucleus locks up files it is uploading.
have you tried renaming the folder when gnucleus is running? I would guess that windows will not allow you to do so.

having gnucleus change folders for you could avoid this issue.

and it would take one click to turn it on and you are done. AOL users would love it.
