Most efficient client (bandwidth usage?)

Hi,

I'm on a permanent dial-up line and behind a firewall. I am wondering if there are "better" clients with regard to minimising bandwidth usage and not acting as a bottleneck for local nodes around me. I'm considering bearshare, phex, gnotella and limewire.

ANy recommendations?
