![]() In the course of a discussion on another, relatively unrelated board, someone told me that a p<->p clinet I was using, called Imesh, is actually what he termed "spyware" in that it actively monitors the browsing habits of a user and then that data is I assume used in targeting spam and other marketing. I'm not familiar with the concept and I'm sure it isn't mentioned very openly where you download this client. Anyone know more about "spyware" and/or this client? I d/l'd the "gnotella" client from this site, I use this for sharing mp3, .wav (samples, not songs) and occasionally apps - does anyone recommend a better client for a wintell box? |
