Search hits go through that someone elses computer and it responds as if it has that file, but then the file is transferred through. Use your brain for a second.
Pass through just has to be there, so no one can say the file came from your computer FOR SURE 100%.
That doesn't mean it has to be used every time, but you never know if someone is using or not.

No wonder the RIAA is winning and governments are making you all slaves to their revenue stream.

Well i'm sure the RIAA can shut you down if it comes from your machine, you are responsible for what goes on, on your machine. So, if it comes from your machine, saying it wasn't me wont matter to them. to the RIAA and ISP's it's guilty until proven otherwise not the other way around. and if you chose to use passthrough, then your responsible for what passes through, same as the ISP's have to answer for your actions if challanged by the RIAA/MPAA by sending you a letter warning you to stop allowing copywritten material from coming out of your machine.
Who in their right mind would let others upload through their machine, unless they are out of reach of the long arm of the riaa/mpaa, then it might be a good idea. :cool:

Mr. I, please do not think that I was trying to in any way limit your discussions on this subject...... I simply moved it out of Shareaza and to a place where it logically should receive more coverage.
Gee, I even gave it a fairly clear subject title which is just obscure/new enough to actually attract readers!
