What's Best For Mac OSX?

I'm just learning about file sharing, so please excuse my ignorance. I run OSX on my IMac; someone told me about Bearshare but I found it was for Windows only. The guy at my local Apple retail store recommended a program called Acquisition but I can't find anything about it. Does one of you know anything about Acquisition, or do you have another recommendation that will work well with my OS? BTW, the same guy also advised against using Lime Wire; in his experience it was "unstable." Thanks in advance for any help.

Acquisition is something very similar to Limewire. The best thing in order to make a judgement is testing.
