Most files that I try to download will give me an error like:

**WARNING** File 'B**tles - T**st & Sh*ut.mp3': expected size 3600010 but server says 40, believing it...

Why does this happen? Would like to become a Gnutella fan, but this is getting frustrated.

BTW: I'm using GTK-Gnutella client on a Red Hat Linux 7.0 OS.

well, don't know your client. i get sometimes (rare) similar error messages. maybe the client isn't too good? give another one a try, maybe that solves the problem ... try one which has an own forum here - if you ask there, you are likely to get answers that help you on.
