Unsolicited Connection to TCP port 6346 on my computer!!!

:o
I do not use Gnutella. I do not have it on my computer at all.
I use my computer to do my work so that I may earn a living.
Over the past week I haven't been able to get much work done.
My McAfee firewall interupts me every 2 - 3 minutes to let me know that someone has Attempted an Unsolicited Connection to TCP port 6346 on my computer because they are using Gnutella !!!
;)
My McAfee firewall also gives me the IP address of the person who is attempting this illegal connection and it allows me to report these HACKERS to HackerWatch.org, a community and collection point for Internet users to report and share information to block and catch 'hackers' and other unwanted unsolicited traffic.

How about sharing the IP with us... we can all block it... it is possible, even likely that it is not a Gnutella user per se as I don't know of a Gnutella client that makes unsolicited calls like that but some organization in the pursuit of identifying Gnutella users...

That's some funny shiznit. You don't even know what a hacker is do you? Do you know what a dynamic IP address is? No? That's funny because you obviously have one. Get lost and then learn how to use your firewall correctly.

Personal, software firewalls are overrated, bordering on scam. I know it can be alarming to get lots of hits. The traffic you are alerted to is harmless. You should turn off the alert. I will post this site, which is highly regarded:
