![]() Hallo: as we all know the mp3-file format is not a free format, it is in principle not royalty-free and has some drawbacks. There is an open source format which is entirely free and in my private opinion much better than mp3, the ogg vorbis. If I rip new things I rip them to .ogg, and I noticed that people are very reluctant to download them from me. So I would like to ask if other people besides me are using this? And if, what are their experiences? Are they so satisfied of the quality like I am? More information at: [http://www.xiph.org/ogg/vorbis/], go and have a look, if you are interested. Plugins for common players like winamp etc. are ready, too. Greetings.... |
