This poll was in response to the Pong Server thread started by that one guy... It is a cool idea, and I believe I actually wrote something about it on this guys thread, but later deleted it. Have you ever written source for Pong? I have, its not really that hard.

You have a subroutine in some program... whatever P2P client you can think of...

Then, you have the subroutine responsible for directing the ball whichever way it goes...

All you need to transmit and recieve is the position of the ball (x,y) and the y position of the oppositions paddles. (The subroutine should already know where your paddle is, and send that info to the other person... same goes for the other fellow)

All thats transfered is three vars at any given time.... this translates into what? 6 bytes of information. Integers taking 2 bytes a peice.

It wouldn't be difficult... Just gotta find someone willing to develop it.
