Extreme Rant and I do mean EXTREME ****ATTENTION***** This rant is not for the faint hearted lots of slurs and swearing is in this rant and goes off balance alot. So please bear with me. Kids under 17 do not read w/out a parents concent. *********BE FORE WARNED************* ==========BEGIN a severe topic shifting rant============= I'm a consumer in the mental health system. I make $566.00 USD/mo. I maintain an average balance of a $1.00 USD in my account. So it is safe to say I won't be buying(can not afford them) CD's or Movies from any of the member companies of the RIAA or the MPAA or any of the software companies. Now when I was working I bought literally(probably) over $10,000 USD in Movies and Music. Now these fat pig *** mobbed up bastered's wan't to sue us? Us. The consumer of their product. The people who have paid over inflated prices for years. I think I paid into their over inflated system for years. Now that I can no longer go to work I get my stuff of of p2p. And i'm not the only one. Lot's of people on a fixed income cannot afford to buy CD's at $20/ea. USD. And i'd say that this makes up a better part of the population who are in the same predicament that i'm in. Even a good portion of the working public can not afford to buy music and movies because they have other obligations, like Rent*********, Utility bills, car payments, child support, ever increasing taxes. Hmmmmmmmmm Could this be the cause of declining CD sales and not piracy. should the arts and entertainment be only available to the rich. I don't know. I'll leave that up to the experts to answer. But i have been reading and keeping tabs on the war between the RIAA/MPAA (mostly RIAA) and P2P. I mean suing 12yr olds and taking all their savings. suing 80yr old men. WTF is wrong with these people. why doesn't the Taliban drop a nuke right into the California fault line and sink all those RIAA/MPAA *******s into the water and see if rats can swim(probably get a call from the FBI for that statement). America has sold it's sole to corporate fat cats and political correctness. Tell you what if p2p comes to an end we'll see Blank CDr sales and broadband sub's drop like a rock from the sky. I don't share RIAA music but I do download/share software/movies. mostly sci-fi. But come to a close what are they going to do. Everything I own is in a trust fund/hiership. So what are those *******s going to do take the dollar in my acount(probably, knowing them). Some one who sues a 12yr old girl for DL'ing nursery rimes HAS NO SCRUPALS. Guess all they care about is their turf wars where innocent bystanders get killed in the cross fire and "shoving that white powder up their nose or thru their veins, it is definately killing their brains"(Oh my god the music police are going to get me now) I thank you guys for the forum space I needed to get this off my chest as I was starting to get sick from reading about what amounts to a holocaust where P2P are the jews and RIAA/US Government is Hitler. For the first time I am ashamed to be associated with this country. The Citizens of the US are not the infadel. The politions and Corporate Megolopolies are. ================END RANT======================= Wheeeeeeewwwwwww. Glad to get this off my chest. this anger towards the RIAA/MPAA/USG has been building up for months. Last edited by kc8gpd; September 19th, 2003 at 11:58 PM. |
