gtk-gnutella might not be the most 'pretty' of all the linux servlets, but once you've used it all the others simply pale in existance!

Infinatly tweakable if you turn on the advanced options, with sensible and yet still useable defaults and a very intellegent and useable interface once you get used to it--its like the bsd of gnutella clients

It's gotta be GTK-Gnutella. It's just such a perfect tool for nerds, and it's also fairly easy to use for newbies. I absolutely _love_ its GUI. While it may look a little complex and unwieldy to your average Joe XP user, once you get used to it, you'll find that it's an extremely powerful user interface, and you'll never go back to anything else.

I'm a die-hard Qt and KDE fan too -- I literally keep a copy of GTK+ installed just for GTK-Gnutella. Keep away from the GTK2 version for now, though -- it's basically just a memory leak in a box, and not yet ready for primetime. Stick with GTK1, it's excellent.

have used gtk-gnutella and at the moment phex .

if i have to explain both clients with something i know from a another network :

gtk-gnutella = emule
phex= edonkey

so i prefer phex , not too much settings , easey and good understandable settings tab .

running pretty good , my opinion . absolutely equal or better for ME then the gtk version of gnutella .

support is oke , that is always fine .....

gtk-gnutella was the only one i liked on my debian box. it was a part of the "stable" packages, so i could just say apt-get install gtk-gnutella and everything was done

I run gtk-gnutella on ubuntu. I like its interface (though its ugly), and there isnt much sense in having a dual boot system, with both os' having limewire. gtk performs well every time I use it.
