![]() Hello guys billy here first sorry for my english because english is not my language so ...guys....I Am In Lan using cable net......and our router ip is xxx.xx.xx.54 My Cable Administrator Block All Ports 1 to infinite.....and i want to run limewire .....limewire use 6346 port .......i also use kazaa which use xxxx port and still same problem my cable administrator blocks all ports 1 to infinite i want to run limewire which run on 6346 port....i open limewire it dont get connect because of port blocking .....then please help how can i use and connect........any help will be very appreciated....... i am using limewire pro... ![]() |

![]() i read the topic....its say use a proxy......i search in google http proxies....sock4 and 5 .....an i try to connect through a proxy but still not connecting............when i press connect ..its status change to connecting.....and after a long time its show a error your computer dont have internet connection or firewall blocking even i dont have firewall install on my pc and my internet running well its all about port blocking i also try to connect through port 8080 1080 and others port but still not connecting.....Help Please......well my cable admin using Redhat Linux |

![]() Your only chance is using either a SOCKS proxy or a HTTP proxy that allows HTTP tunneling. If you have access to such a proxy server (most providers offer at least a HTTP proxy) you configure LimeWire to use that proxy at: tools->options->advanced->proxy There is a 50/50 chance that your provider's http proxy allows HTTP tunneling, so it may not work after all. Setting limewire's listening port will have absolutely no effect in your case. |
