Has anyone been caught sharing illegal material by the "Law"?

I was just curious to know if any of you know of police acts against private users (n.b: NOT pro pirates!) sharing over p2p networks. If so, I would like those who do to shortly describe in which country this has happened and how.

I heard that they sued some students in America. AFAIK its the only country where this happened...
