Sharing files, Very Important Question Im sharing about 50 files(all full games). And i was just wondering if i get hits, does this mean that the person is downloading already, or they have to hit and upload to start their downloading? I wanted to know, cause i dont mind sharing files and i wanted to make sure everything was Ok. Most of the time i only see hits, and no uploads, so get back to me asap. Thanks! |

Hits doesn't always mean someone searched for just that file. Some of the terms in the file name might also trigger a hit in response to a search. It's irritating when someone just searches for ".jpg", and all my photos show a hit. What client are you using? In LW, there are a number of ways to monitor uploads. You can turn on the monitor page from the view menu, look at the upload bandwidth in the tools->statistics, and sort the uploads (completed/attempted) column in the library window. Cheers--glad to see a sharer posting. |
