 MP3 doomed and restricted - OGG vorbis the way to go DRM(Digital Rights Management) will be implemented for MP3. So perhaps there will be no more sharing of MP3:s to friends or at the gnutella network in the future. Yes, MP3 music technology is getting a makeover aimed at blocking unauthorized copying. Thomson and Fraunhofer, the companies that license and own the patents behind the MP3 digital music technology has decided this. Read the story at news.com You can also contibute to open source by starting to use OGG Vorbis . I think thatś the way to go.
