![]() I have my banking software and Limewire co-existing without a problem for quite sometime. Yesterday, out of nowhere, the banking software, which uses Microsoft VM Java (I hope I'm describing this right), definitely not Sun Java, didn't work properly. After a lot of troubleshooting, I removed the Sun Java via Control Panel "Add/Remove" (Win XP Pro). The banking software works again, but this AM, Limewire needed a java platform (or maybe environment). I downloaded from Sun the Java 2 Runtime Environment V 1.4.2_04. Limewire now loads, but tells me that it appears that I have an inactive internet connection. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |
