Default more server to the list?

Hallo!

At first: Sorry becaus of my bad english. I try to explain my question...

I have five server in my serverlist, but isn't it right that the downloads are faster, when I'm connectet with more servers than five???

How can I connect my OSX to more server?
Can someone tell me more serveradresses???

I hope, you can help me!

Hello thxpir@te,

The "servers" (peers or ultrapeers) you see are your contact with the network.
They handle your searches and point out to you where a download can be found.
The number of ultrapeer connections has little influence on your download speed, unless you have a 56K or ISDN connection.

But to give a good answer to your question, you should tell what Client (Limewire ?) you are using, what connection you have to the Internet, if you use a router, and give info about your computer PC, Mac ?

I have a Mac (OS X), LimeWire 4.2.6 Pro, 1000-DSL, and a router.
This informations seems to be important... why?

If you're using a router there's a reasonable chance you'll be firewalled (NAT firewall most likely) which might not help trying as an UP. May I ask what brand name & model no.'s of modem & router do you use?
