Hi all, im new here
Ive just signed up to a site called FREE MOVIE NOW, which cost me $39.95 +$6.99 tax through CLICKBANK.
After i had paid, downloaded and opened the site, it was showing the site LIMEWIRE
and graphically nothing like the site displayed as 'free movie now'
HAVE I BEEN SCREWED!!!???

You've been scammed. Try to block the money transfer ASAP with your bank, credit card company or whatever.

Tried to block the payment through VISA but they told me that i have to contact the company first who delt with the transaction!!!!!!! so ive wrote to CLICKBANK
Don't know what else i can do? ANY IDEA'S

Did you tell VISA it was a scam? You might find more hints on the earlier pages of the links I've given you.

(whoops I said 11th from bottom but it's 24th!)

thanks for that, ive spoken to the bank again and i should not be billed, but, the scamers will still get paid!!!

This is one of the things we need better laws in hang one or too of this type like a drug dealer would be and see how fast this crap would quit happening

I agree but LW is open source so it's not copyright/patented. It's difficult but to show they have no agreement whatsoever to deal with LW's software as an agent & take money for it. It's like those scalpers selling tickets outside of a football grand final or music concert.
