hi can any one out there help me im new at this i am a modem connection an i want to know if i should be downloading from other use's with modems or cable or dsl or does it not matter

It doesn't matter so long as you get what you want, without corruptions or whatever. Modem users, though slow, often have very hard to get files or just add to thecomibined hosts downlds when downding from multiple hosts.

Beware that on dial up, your options & abilities are limited. Don't resume/Find sources on more than one/2 files at one time. Else you'll affect your net connection, etc.
