connection problem For some reason no gnutella client connects to the servers, althouth they resume the already started downloads. I can ping the servers but cannot telnet to port 6346, where i assume the connection is made. the only reason i can think of is that the admin suddenly disabled routing of such packets, yesterday it worked fine. any ideas? |
Time Warner block 6346? I'm seeing this as well. From all appearances it looks like Time-Warner is blocking port 6346. Any gnutella developers considering having hosts/servers work from multiple ports (perhaps from publicly used ports so they won't be blocked)? |
connections I followed a post that liked to a web site with servent addresses and now I am back to file sharing! ITunes 2 is awsome, gnutella rules the web. |
Do you mean www.gnufrog.com :) Also, Cyclocide suggested adding connect3.bearshare.net to your Auto Connect Host list. |
