Default Whats this???

I do have nor have ever used GNUTella of anykind that i am aware of ,... but between 10:54 pm 07 NOV01 and 1:43 am 08NOV01,. my firewall recorded over 500 hits,. 90% of them from Port:6346 which i beleive is used by GNUTella,...

Anyone shed some light on this??

Yes, the port 6346 is used by some Gnet clients...

But I think its not only used by Gnet clients...

Which client do you use?

I dont use one,.... i miss-typed in my earlier post.

That is whats troubling me. Im all for file sharing,. but when im using nor have ever used a file sharing client, it is disturbing to see so many hits to my IP addy, most of which seem to be coming in looking for the same open Port.

Hmmm,

portscans are normal in the internet, but especially the port 6346?!?

The Gnet clients searsh in the Gnet...

Sorry but I have no idea?!?

Does your ISP assign you a dynamic IP address?
