Anyone tried this open source gnutella client ?

Seems good to me, but as I am a gnutella newbie, I'd like to ask for other people's opinion, too

Hi!

I tried it, but I think it is just a simple Gnucleus clone, I canīt find great improvements!

It is still a beta, or?

Maybe I try the final version again!

So long I stay with... guess what

Yeah, it's heavily gnucleus cloned. Anyhow, I seem to like it better than gnucleus.

About file sharing programs, i use these right now:

Kazaa, Xolox, eDonkey and Direct Connect.

Do I miss any other great ones ?

Hi!

I would change Kazaa... take Morpheus...

because Kazaa is infested with spyware...

but you are right this clients are the best at the moment...

According to which criterions do you judge those clients as the 'best'?

According to this here:

The bearshare ratings are faked...

And I tested them...

so I accord to my personal taste too...

The main feature that these programs have is the ability to download a file from multiple servers. This increase their download speed amazingly. That's what make them the best. I am using Morpheus every now and then, but mostly Gnotella. I don't agree with the criteria though.

Hi backmann!

There are some more features...

And the taste of the most users making them "the best"!

That's true. There are a lot of users running Morpheus. The option to search by artist or title is something I would like to see in many Gnutella clients. It doesn't mean though that you will find what you're looking for. I use both, Morpheus and a Gnutella client. This way if you don't find something in one, you find it in the other.
