Need help with Gnutella node or socket
 

I'm one of those dinosaurs still using Kazaa Gold, but now I can't connect. I've listed the error below. I'm considering Limewire, but I'm so paranoid about Malware, worms, viruses....ect. tagging along with the install. Could anyone suggest a fix for my Kazaa or point me towards the cleanest version (yet still most efficient) of Limewire, or if there is a better file sharing program I don't know about that would be great too.
