Default ...

PEERahna has a pretty nasty user interface.. I don't know how that many people could have voted for it - didn't seem to work any better than any other generic Gnutella client, either..

Xolox has always been the only one that has worked half decently for me, I think because of the recursive searches - but now even it is going to crap..

I think the network has some serious problems. Possibly incompatibilities between clients, possibly it has outgrown itself - who knows.

WinMX still works wonderfully though - I get more results with it, but the major difference is that 90% of the files are downloadable, whereas with Gnutella clients it's only like 10% of the files that are downloadable.

I still have hopes for Gnutella, which is why I keep coming back here - but I gotta say, the last few times I have tried to find anything on there, things have looked pretty bleak.

Just my opinion.

i agree with dubstar, it seems that lately anytime I search on gnut I get fewer and fewer results, and almost no completes of larger files. I hope this is not a case of more people deciding to be freeloaders. I find that if I want a larger file eg. movie or warez I have to go back to direct connect, I don't like to do this as my HD is only 20 gig, so I can't get into the really good hubs, but at least I seem to get what I'm after. I really hope gnut will get better as I really like the underlying premise of free for all, but untill I see better network stability, and more and larger files that COMPLETE I guess I'm stuck with DC.

This results are quite different to the ones showed at Zeropaid.com. I guess that would be because here you can vote only once.

Did you see PEERanha on the zeropaid vote?

And on zeropaid are not only Gnutella clients!

Where is the problem now?

I remember the last poll I started here - Limewire was on the first place... I think Limewire is actually on the 16th on zeropaid!

Zeropaid is not Gnutellaforums!
