Connecting to Gnutella Lite

So I'm sure this has been asked already but I hd Gnutella Lite on my old computer and it worked perfectly for me. I just bought a new labtop with Vista and can not get it to connect. I added it to the list of programs as an exception to the windows firewall. the only other thing I could guess is that when I bought the computer from best buy and they installed the anti-virus and anti-spyware programs on it, they blocked these kind of programs? I'm really not that good at the technical so but any help would really be apreciated. If it helps I also download gnutella turbo and that connects, but I don't really like the way it is setup.

Yes some security software such as anti spyware utility programs think p2p software is spyware. Two options: put Gnutella Lite on the safe list of those particular utilities, else look for security software that is p2p compatible.
