Hosts To:Gnutella, Hi, I have a problem. I open my program and I get 0 hosts, no files, no nothin'. But I click the "Add" button in the connections tab then I get 52 hosts, but no files still. What do I do? |
You have to enter a search before you see any files. |

I have to write the file name, let's say "what_is_the_fight_club.mp3", or it could be any phrase with key words to search? I ask this, because I wrote a phrase in the search box, and I wait for a long time, and there was a message at the bottom "searching" but nothing appeared. |
Use any word or words that are likely to be found in the name of the file you are seeking. Parts of words also will work. A lot of people seem to be having the same search problem with Gnotella (including myself). Gnutella, despite its limitations and the fact it is no longer being developed, still works well enough, however. By the way, please make files available on your machine. The more people that do this - and many, many do not - the more efficiently the network will function. |
