somebody hell me!!!! I cant make a search, whenever i type in something, and all i says it searching, and never comes up!!!

what are you searching for ?

are u sharing and not being greedy?
are you behind a firewall ?

did u select the proper connection speed ?

Which client do you use?
Are you sure your client is connected?

If you can browse with netscape on your setup it should work for you.
Type in "britney" (without the quotes) as a search term, this is one of the most popular search words. You should get lots of hits back.
You may also have to wait a bit after starting the program to get better connected to the network before issuing a search.
Remember, there are no central servers on gnutella, so the experience is different, it takes a little while to get well connected to the network. It does work great after you get used to how it works.
