![]() I'm behind a NAT router, I've forwarded port 6346 to my box.. along with 6347, 6350. I know the forwarding is working, because port 80 reaches apache fine. But still no uploads on Xolox. I'm sharing several hundred files. When plugged into the cable modem directly, I always have 4-5 uploads going. Anyone know? |

![]() You need to tell your servent what your real ip address is. You'll note that your computer thinks its ip addy is 192.168.x.x ... this is a bogus ip addy that is reserved for private networks, such as the one you have running behind your NAT firewall. Find out what your real ip address is. This is the ip address that your gateway or router has issued by your isp. In the settings of every gnutella servent, there's a place where you can tell it what your real ip address is. Change that setting, and it should work. |
