Default LimeWirePRO Install Problem on Linux Mandrake 8.1

In installed Sun J2SDK 1.4.0 Standard Edition on my Linux Mandrake 8.1 system. I edited the BASH profile and put /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0/bin at the fromt of the path. I rebooted Linux Mandrake and checked to see which java I was using and it was using the correct one.

[root@shp2 tmp]#which java
/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0/bin/java

I tried to install LimeWirePRO and here it would not install. What am I doing wrong?

[root@shp2 tmp]# sh ./LimeWireLinux.bin

Default Same problem with mandrake 8.2

I tried this on MDK 8.1 and 8.2 and ran into the exact same problem, messed with the shell script installer a bit, and still couldn't get it working, what's the deal?

The solution to your ails is posted in my own thread titled, "The Solution to All Install Problems". I would repost here but it is tiring. You don't believe me, just check the first eleven or so installatoin issue threads! Best regards and let me know your mileage.

Angry

Limewire does not work for Mandrake 8.2 either. The earlier versions of Limewire did work, but their is an error in the present program.
Limewire seems to ignore the fact and does not remedy it. It is a pity because it is a good program. If you can get an earlier program it works well.

I am running Mandrake 8.2 and Mandrake Cooker. I am also running Linux From Scratch. Are you using bash? All are working with the newest LimeWire. Did you follow my above example to the letter with exceptions where actual locations of java apply?

Default Second...

Where is the error code? Can you please reproduce it for this list? I and others would like to take a gander at your code and provide solutions. Cheers.
