Question j2re PATH var not found

ive installed j2re .rpm file and it all went fine. the java is now installed in /usr/java
but when i try to run the LimeWireLinux.bin file it says:
"No Java virtual machine could be found from your PATH
environment variable. You must install a VM prior to"
what should i do?
