New LW Pro install making Java errors Hi, I just upgraded to LW Pro 2.6.x from 2.5.5, and it's generating Java errors, and not starting up. Here it is: [root@www /root]# ./LimeWire & [1] 15025 [root@www /root]# Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: lax/nl/java/option/java/stack/ [1]+ Exit 1 ./LimeWire I didnt nuke LW 2.5.5 and it STILL RUNS, so it's a problem that 2.6.x is having. thanks! |
btw btw, Im running j2re1.4.0_02 on a current redhat install. java version "1.4.0_02" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.0_02-b02) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.0_02-b02, mixed mode) |
Did you play with your runLime script??? Your classpath isn't set correctly. |
Hi, I figured out the answer to this and posted it in the Install -> Linux forum. Basically this seems to be a really crass bug in InstallAnywhere. Edit the line in LimeWire/LimeWire.lax that says: lax.nl.java.option.java.stack. size.max=65536 Take out the space between stack. and size and everything will work. |
yay thanks!!! That fixed it - thanks!! |
thx. I was going nuts trying to figuring it out. |
