Default LimeWire Setup Wizard

Hi,
I got the java to work, but now every time i click on my LimeWire link, it takes me through the etup wizard then to the program. It does this every time i start the program! How can I fix this?

I experienced the same problem and I could solve it this way. In .limewire directory, instead of a FILE named limewire.props there was a DIR with this name. This prevented the program of saving all the settings, and it always worked as it was running the first time. So I remove the DIR and created an empty file with the same name, and rw options for all. Another tip: when use the Options dialog, I couldn't see any ok/cancel buttons. So I enlarged the window height and there they were!

Default Yep It Works!!

Awesome. I think the Mac OS X users should try the same. As soon as I changed limewire.props from a directory to an empty file the problem was solved. Thanks!

Lightbulb Better suggestion based on current

Just delete the linewire.props folder. The program itself will re-create a new file all by itself.

This will save someone some grief if they inadvertantly create an incompatable or non-writable file.

Applies to LineWire Linux version 2.7.3, but I would expect it correct for any version that has limewire.props as a folder instead of a file.
