What you need to do it this. the java that you are running is not the Sun JRE that you installed. I am guessing that you installed via RPM What you need to do is this. find out where your 1.4.1 JRE is located at. It is usually in /usr/java/jre1.4.1 Thenmake a link to the /usr/java/jre1.4.1/bin/java script to somewhere in your path..../usr/bin is a good spot then in your /etc/ld.so.conf you will need to add a line. /usr/java/jre1.4.1/lib (or whatever the path is) save that and then run ldconfig as root then you can cd to the Limewire dir and run the " 'the link you made to java' -jar Runlime.jar" make sure that you are in the same dir or put the limewire dir in your path.. |
