Default Random hangs in 4.0.4?

After roughly 2 or so hours of uptime, Limewire 4.0.4 hangs or fails to refresh the window and doesn't respond to any clicks or tabs or anything and requires me to kill it and reload it to for it to continue running again.

Some details:
Linux distribution: SuSE Linux 9.0
Java: 1.4.2_04
Acting as a supernode at the time with roughly 29 peer connections and 28 to 30 leaf connections.

I've seen it also occur when I was acting only as a leaf with 4 ultrapeer connections.

Download the newest version. The final 4.0.8 or the beta 4.1.5.

As was suggested please download the latest version - either 4.0.8 or the beta 4.1.5

In order to help us debug this problem, start limewire from a terminal window (if you do not already do so). If/when limewire freezes again, open a second terminal window and type

ps ax|grep java |grep Lime

This will list which one of the processes on your machine is limewire. The first digit on that line is the number of the LimeWire process. In the same terminal window, type

kill -QUIT <number of the Limewire process>

When you press return, limewire will print helpful debug information on the other terminal - the one on which you started it. That debug info will be quite long - up to a few screens - but we need all of it to find the problem. Please copy/paste it and post it here if you can.

Thanks,
zab
