![]() I am running Mandrake 8, and I'm having problems getting Lime Wire to run. I installed the JRE correctly and I am getting the following Error messages. the command 'sh runlime.sh' returns the following: ': not a valid identifier_PREEMPTCLOSE Couldn't find or load essential class `java/lang/Object' java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError java/lang/Object runlime.sh: line 11: 15116 Aborted (core dumped) java -classpath . RunLime 'java -cp . RunLime' and 'java -cp .:LimeWire.jar:collections.jar com.limegrou p.gnutella.gui.Main' both return the following: Internal error: caught an unexpected exception. Please check your CLASSPATH and your installation. java/lang/ClassNotFoundException: /:LimeWire/jar:collections/jar at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:native) at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:52) Aborted (core dumped) Any Ideas? |

![]() Try /usr/java/jre1.3.1/bin/java -cp . RunLime If that works you can edit LimeWire/runlim.sh and change the line that says: java -classpath . RunLime to the above and use 'sh runlime.sh' At least this worked for me on Mandrake 8, i was having the same problems. You might also need do this first: 'export J2SE_PREEMPTCLOSE=1' |
