Core dump Everytime i try to start LimeWire I get a core dump. I get this on two different machines. The error is as follows: Couldn't find or load essential class `java/lang/Object' java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError java/lang/Object ./runlime.sh: line 11: 3307 Aborted (core dumped) java -classpath . RunLime I have installed the latest version of Java and still nothing. I did this part also: export J2SE_PREEMPTCLOSE=1 Anyone have any clues?? |
More info Got a username now. Both machines I have tried it on have RedHat 7.1 and plenty of hardware. I am on AT&T Broadband and would sell my first born before i went back to a dial-up. If anyone can help but needs any more info just let me know. |
Receiving core dumps also on RH7.0 and 7.1 also I am also receiving the core dumps while I am trying to install LimeWire. Although I have the original release and it works fine. But I would like to get the latest version working. I have searched the whole 6.5MB core dump and I can't find what is causing it. I have tried installing limewire on 3 diffrent, two running RH 7.0 and one running RH7.1. I have the latest version of jre installed (j2re-1.3.1). Does anyone have any clues on whats going on? setiguru@bellsouth.net |
