Default Can't type in search box

I'm using LimeWire 1.6b on RedHat 6.2. After a random amount of time, I can no longer type anything in the search blank. All of my downloads still continue, I just can start any more searches. It seems to happen more often after switching to other programs. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Version 1.4b is known to do this, but it doesn't usually occur with 1.6d.

Try switching to other tasks a couple times and see if your keyboard comes back.

I've upgraded to 1.6d and have repeated the problem. It worked fine for many hours and this morning it stopped working again. I've only got one mp3 download going. It seems specific to the search field, I can go to the Monitor tab and enter other numbers in the number of searches to show field with no problem.
Is there anything I can do to help figure out why it does this?

This is a bug in the code, and as of now, there are no known fixes. Perhaps you could suggest the fix in the New Features Requests section.

:-)

Fantastic... a bug in the code that stops you from BEING ABLE TO INTERACT WITH YOUR SOFTWARE.

Well I suppose that after all the hassle installing (the install window was way too small and couldn't be resized so I kept hitting tab and enter until it installed), not to mention getting the JRE up an running...

ah well I'll wait for a fix. :-( and for now I'll just admire the aesthetics of the GUI... hahaha

This bug hits me straight away - I can't even get one search going.
