Java error...won't start I have J2SE 1.41 beta 2 or whatever the latest version of java is. I attempt to start Limewire but get the error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: LimeWire/jar Anyone know what causes this and how to fix it? |
I got the same problem...solution anyone... |
I have a similar problem: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/zerog/lax/LAX Thanks... |
LimeWire requires 1.3.1 at this time. Install it in another directory (other than where you have 1.4). Then, try running LimeWire. :-) |
Same problem, using JRE 1.3.1 I'm encountering the same problem, and I *am* using JRE 1.3.1. I'm running Mandrake 8, and *attempting* to run LimeWire 1.7. Here's the exact error I'm getting: Couldn't find or load essential class 'java/lang/Object' java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError java/lang/Object ./runlime.sh: line 11: 5052 Aborted java -classpath . RunLime Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. - Stealth Dave |
