error messages....
 

i tried installing limewire but these stupid error messages keep coming up...

error: cannot get exclusive lock on /var/lib/rpm/Packages
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Operation not permitted (1)
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm

do u no wats wrong? :D

make sure you're doing this as root, and see if there is anything else that uses rpm running (like yum, apt-rpm, up2date)
